The Preview: Hoosick Falls/Tamarac Girls Soccer

In case you were wondering, that's where I'll be at this afternoon. The getting familiar with Section II tour takes me to another Troy area school where girls athletics tend to be strong. They certainly have a more-than-formidable opponent in the near-Vermont Hoosick Falls Panthers.

So far - Well, not much. Hoosick Falls showed how good they can be, Tamarac showed they can wait. They haven't had a game yet! Finally, the home team will be able to get to the action. Hoosick Falls had one game in Section 2.. a challenging one, for sure, against CCHS. Unlike Troy last night, Hoosick Falls was able to beat the Crusaders 4-3. After watching that squad last night, I'm looking forward to see what HF can bring. They keep churning out good teams in almost every program!

Never watched either of these girls soccer programs before, new experience! I've also never been to Tamarac, so my Section II virginity is being lost one day at a time. Last time I was at Hoosick Falls: watched their boys basketball team beat Lake George pretty handily. Went through hell & high water.. well, high snow, to get there. That mountain is wonderful...

See you there this afternoon at 4:15!
